P52 - Week 38

Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck! Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!

Howdy Ags! This week's photos are all about my alma mater, Texas A&M University and the Aggie game day experience! Whoop!

Though my friend, her husband, my husband, and myself are all members of the Class of '93, this game day was the first chance we had to expose our collective kiddos to an Aggie football game and all the celebrations that surround it.

We took them to midnight yell practice. We decked them out in maroon attire. And then escorted them into a crowd of over 86 thousand screaming fans. We all sang, cheered (yelled, actually), and very nearly all lost our voices as the Aggies walloped the Idaho Vandals 37 to 7. And though it meant two very late nights for our little brood, I know that it is a memory that they will carry with them for many years to come. And who knows, maybe one day they'll be 'humping it' up on the 3rd deck just like their parents did all those years ago.

About This Blog

I'm a proud mom of a very active little boy. I have truly enjoyed the opportunity to document the many milestones throughout his life so far. These moments are precious to me. So I grabbed a camera and snapped away. I dabbled a bit in scrapbooking and took some time to learn at least the basics of photography. After all, kids grow so fast and you can't turn back the time.

But as he got old enough for school and team sports, I was so very disappointed in the offerings out there. I'm proud of my All Star in every thing he pours his heart into!

So I picked up a copy of Photoshop and tried my best to create momentos to capture these memories.

I'd love a chance to help you stop time for a moment as well.
