P52 - Week 13

I know, this one is late too. But I wanted to leave week 12 at the top of the page for a few days at least.

This time, my photo is WAY out of my comfort zone. See?



Looking at this photo, I can almost smell the sweet aroma wafting my way. No, this is not some evidence of a green thumb ... at least, not one on my own hand. This dainty little blossom was handed out to me after an oil change (of all places). It was unexpected and such a nice way to drive away from the repair shop.

I love roses. I know precious few ladies who don't love roses. But I can't seem to grow them myself (you'll recall the aforementioned lack of a green thumb) and I hate to see them die after only a few days when I purchase them already cut. So this was indeed a rare treat for me.

I'm glad to have this photo as it will remind me of the beauty of spring and the unanticipated smile after a routine oil change. :+)
