a walk, no, a run, in the park

Something BEYOND strange happened here late last week ... a taste of fall blew in. WHAT A TREAT! Now, I'm not a cynic, but I'm also a bit of a realist ... so I am soaking up the cool breezes and crisp air while they last and not expecting anything further.

When the weather turns nice like this (even for just a day or two), I like to get outside as much as possible. And with that in mind, I was super excited when Mrs. W invited me and my boys to join her and her oldest lovely lady at a local park on Friday evening. Ms. K runs cross country track at her high school. And as this is her final year, Mrs. W and I thought something special was in order.
