P52 - Week 20

Despite all of the rush of the week, I actually got my camera out more than you might expect. And one of my favorite shots of the week is this one:

These are the game pieces for a new word game our family has been enjoying called Konexi.

I cannot recommend this game highly enough. It's billed as a "gravity-defying word game" and I think they hit that nail right on the head w/ that apt description. Only one letter in the whole stack touches the ground (or table, or whatever playing surface you are using). The rest are balanced precariously on one another with only little tabs in equally little grooves to hold them in place. It's quite the engineering marvel (imho).

We've had quite a few fun evenings with this game already and I am looking forward to many more.
